Annie Delvenne is a Belgian textile designer whose work explores textile as structure, memory and architectural surface. Through pleating, transformation and material dialogue, she develops collectible pieces and spatial installations situated at the intersection of textile, metal and architecture.

Her practice is rooted in a unique trajectory combining fashion, textile design and textile conservation. After completing advanced studies in textile conservation and working internationally with major cultural institutions, she developed an approach in which materials are understood not only as surfaces, but also as carriers of memory, tension and transformation. At the core of her work lies the transformation of existing and dormant textiles into active architectural surfaces.

Pleating becomes a constructive language; textile behaves as structure rather than ornament. In dialogue with folded, chiselled or engraved metal surfaces, her work establishes a singular material vocabulary balancing softness and density, lightness and mineral presence.

She is co-founder of Folded Fusion, a collaborative project developed with architect and designer Olivier Vitry / Claisse Architectures. Together, they create collectible objects, seating, sculptural pieces and architectural panels that explore new relationships between textile, metal and space. Folded Fusion was selected by the European WORTH Partnership Project and presented during Milan Design Week 2025 at Brussels House. The work has also been exhibited by Galerie Gosserez in Paris. Her practice engages with galleries, architects, textile editors and luxury brands interested in innovative material approaches and architectural textile applications.
